On behalf of the Nuclear Regulatory Committee (NRC) licensing process, CCTI performed a design safety review of a section of the Mixed-Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility. Leveraging decades of experience in chemical plant design and operation, CCTI applied lessons learned to the nuclear industry, contributing to a US Congressional report.

The NRC oversees reactor safety and security, reactor licensing and renewal, radioactive material safety, security and licensing, and spent fuel management (storage, security, recycling, and disposal).
